Services are also extended to family members and caregivers, recognizing the broader impact these conditions can have on loved ones.
PSYCHOTHERAPY
Emotional and adjustment difficulties are common when facing the diagnosis and impact of neurological or other health conditions. Psychotherapy provides both practical strategies and emotional support to help navigate these challenges. In her practice, Dr. Stock draws on evidence-based modalities—including CBT, ACT, DBT, IPT, and existential psychotherapy—integrated with a deep understanding of brain–behavior relationships, to offer therapy tailored to each individual’s needs. The goal is to support patients in building resilience, adapting to new circumstances, and maintaining a meaningful and fulfilling life.
COGNITIVE REMEDIATION
Neurological injury or illness can result in a range of cognitive challenges. Cognitive remediation is a structured, evidence-based approach designed to improve skills such as memory, attention, planning, and problem-solving. Interventions are tailored to each individual’s cognitive profile and personal goals. Through targeted exercises, practical strategies, and consistent practice, cognitive remediation supports the strengthening of cognitive function and fosters greater confidence and independence in daily life.
NEUROPSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATIONS
Neurological injury or illness can affect each person in unique ways. A comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation assesses cognitive, behavioral, and emotional functioning to understand how these areas may have been impacted by the condition. By identifying an individual’s strengths and weaknesses, the evaluation helps inform diagnosis, guide personalized treatment planning, and support specific recommendations for intervention.
GROUP THERAPY
In addition to individual therapy, Dr. Stock offers group therapy sessions to foster peer support, social connection, and the sharing of experiences among individuals living with similar neurological or health conditions. Depending on demand, groups may be available for those with traumatic brain injury, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, or chronic pain.
BILINGUAL SERVICES
Dr. Stock’s practice provides services in both English and Hebrew, ensuring clear communication and culturally sensitive support for individuals and families from diverse backgrounds.
